Michael began his career in the States at the age of 13 when he starred as Billy in "Billy Elliot the Musical" on Broadway, and is well known for being named the Runner-Up on Season 2 of NBC's World of Dance & performing in the Savage X Fenty Show!

Michael has continued to grace many stages including being named the winner of Australias 'So You Think You Can Dance'. After being crowned Australia's favorite dancer, Michael joined the first national tour of Disney's Newsies, and has danced for artists such as Bebe Rexha, Sabrina Carpenter, and Paula Abdul!
